The Private Pool Room at Samudra Beach Resorts comes with its own small plunge pool, enclosed by stone walls, so you can cool off whenever you like without sharing it with anyone. It's a pool for a quiet dip, not for swimming laps.
Breakfast is included. When you want the sea, walk straight from the resort onto the beach, or head up to the rooftop pool, which looks out over the water.

How much is a Private Pool Room?
₹7,000 + tax per night, with complimentary breakfast. Booking directly by phone or WhatsApp gets you the best rate with no added fees.
Is the pool really private?
Yes. The plunge pool belongs to your room and is enclosed by stone walls, so it's only for you. It's a small plunge pool for cooling off, not a lap pool. For a full swim with sea views, every guest can also use the rooftop pool.
Is the beach private too?
No. The beach in front of the resort is a public beach. Guests can walk straight onto it from the resort, but it isn't reserved for guests.
Is the Private Pool Room good for couples?
Yes. With its own pool, it's well suited to couples, honeymoons and babymoons. Unmarried couples are welcome to book.
How far is it from Chennai?
About 40 minutes from central Chennai along East Coast Road, depending on traffic, and about 15 minutes from Mahabalipuram.
Are pets allowed?
